Develop Bright got its start by working with entrepreneurs, specifically assisting entrepreneurs with web development and digital marketing. We believe entrepreneurs can be greatly motivated by those colleagues around them, so we’ve started a series called ‘Entrepreneur Spotlight’. We’ve asked a series of questions; if you have motivating entrepreneur stories or suggestions please contact us.
This next Entrepreneur Spotlight is on a hard-working mother and successful entrepreneur, Asia. She is a cofounder of a new and impactful social media tool to generate leads and engagement. Below is a little of our interview with Asia.
Develop Bright: Describe what you do to those who may be unfamiliar
River: “My name is Asia, I’m cofounder of the coolest tool for Instagram, called River. Which helps you become even more popular on Instagram!
We want to make a difference in the Instagram world by bringing the real people back to everyone’s Instagram profile, not bot-coin-likes. River was made to make brand building and engaging on Instagram easier.
Increasing engagement is the key to success on Instagram. With River, you can attract real people and get real love back to your Instagram profile. The more you engage with your audience, by liking photos and following them, the more they will engage with your profile in return. Which will lead to more followers and more targeted traffic buying your products, visiting your website, etc.
DB: What does entrepreneurship mean to you?
River: “Choosing to ‘work for yourself’ is one of the most empowering things you can do. And you can eat ridiculous amounts of ice cream, when you realize that self-employment and business ownership isn’t as pleasant as you thought it would be.
Entrepreneurship is not just about making money – but extends to seizing opportunities to build relationships, advance commerce, and better humanity. When you can embrace the totality of entrepreneurship, it begins to shape a balanced state of mind to enable your passionate pursuits through the lens of endless possibilities.”
DB: What advice or motivation do you have for other entrepreneurs?
River: “If you think every startup founder has to be a college dropout like Mark Zuckerberg, you’d be wrong. A new generation of startup entrepreneurs are working hard to solve problems — while working just as hard at being a parent or student. Many are solving the pain points in their own lives, like the craziness of carpool schedules. Others are tackling subjects like genomics or cloud infrastructure. If anything is clear, being a mom or student doesn’t mean you can’t build a startup. I’m a mom to an amazing 4 year old son and I’m cofounder of super cool Tool for Influencers. I work a lot but LOVE both of my sides.”
DB: What’s your favorite motivational or inspirational quote?
River: “This life is pretty AMAZING! Just stop and look around!”
DB: What’s one impact you hope to have on those you come in contact with?
River: “Entrepreneurship isn’t for everyone, but entrepreneurship can lead to an amazing life. Each entrepreneur spends 40-plus hours of our week working. That time could be spent doing something you love or doing something that makes you miserable and affects all other areas of your life.
